WIP Wolf Abstraction

This has no title so far.

A WIP from my sketch book. I have all these sorts of ideas from my head but I haven`t made a serious attempt to begin working; until now.

I feel there should be some changes in here. Luckily I already have it planned out.

I felt this would be a good example to show for the purpose of a sketchbook. You can make changes until you feel you have your ideas sorted out. Remember, it`s a sketchbook feel free to make as many errors as you can. As an artist you make a lot of crap art (what YOU feel is crap art) until you make something you are very satisfied with. It`s all about the learning process.

Watchers on DeviantART

Knowing that someone appreciates your artwork enough to watch you on DeviantART and favorite your stuff is a successful feeling. It gives you the confidence that artist want a lot of times.
I`m up to 22 watchers on deviantart. I know, I know, how lame is that? Only 22. It`s not a 220, 2000, or even some 12,000. But you know what? I got that 22 and even if it`s not some high number I still feel pretty damn good to know that someone likes it!

I`m not one of those people that HAVE to become a sort of Internet sensation in my time; sometimes fame just comes and you don`t even want or may have a very nonchalant attitude over it.
Heck; I have almost a 100 page views on this blog so far and it means so much to me! It encouraging in every way possible.

So thank you everyone!

Cleveland Institue of Art Pre-College follow up.

Where my classes were held.

 

 

So during the two weeks learning from art professionals, it was a real life changing experience. My best artwork from years began to show up and LOT`s of improvement as well.

A week later from the two weeks this is what I get in my email.

 



We have also received grades from each of the Pre-College instructors and your student’s Pre-College grade is a(n) B+.   

 

I can`t say that I complain, but I did bust my butt to get a good grade. Its better then a C, D, and F. Maybe an A would have been better; but with this B+ it makes you think on the stuff you did and why you did get an A in the first place...perhaps it was me falling asleep for half and hour on our last days after working everyday for NINE hours.

 

All I all, I`m proud of myself that I have got this far into my works.

 



 



 

 

 



 

Planning from scrap

Scrap art from Cleveland Institute of Art, planning on large brown paper for Abstraction Project.

Plan in sketchbook < loose leaf paper < large brown paper < large white final paper

^The technique above was an assignment by my teacher. It gives you the chance to pan out your ideas while adding in changes. This makes it less confusing for you to draw on large paper then starting from a sketchbook to final paper. (the two pictures have no correlation with each other- fyi)
